Massoum from Carpets Clinic cleaned and re-backed my early Turkish rug fragment recently and I am very happy indeed with the result. We selected a very suitable backing fabric and he re-stitched the rug fragment very carefully to the new backing. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who needs their rugs and carpets handled with the utmost care.
Massoum has restored Three carpet. Two of which have been in my family for several generations. The third carpet was a huge Turkish Oushak Anatolia Carpet, which had suffered sun damage and general wear and tear with several holes. All the carpets were returned and re-laid by Massoum, who also ordered the underlaying. He is a brilliant craftsman and incredibly helpful.
